As an actor, Sarah attended Circle In The Square Theatre school, where she was mentored by renowned acting teacher Alan Langon. Alan has taught actors such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Viola Davis, and Lady Gaga to name a few.
Sarah recently starred in and produced an off Broadway play, “Savage in Limbo” by John Patrick Shanley. While casting the play, she sought out a predominantly queer and poc cast, because she believes theatre should be a real reflection of the world.
She believes the crux of her humanity lies in being a lesbian. It’s an identity, a viewpoint, and a politic that has shaped her as an artist. Even before she was fully aware of what to call it or was too afraid to stand in its truth, her queerness has always been the guiding force behind her artistry.
